Science communicator, sporadic traveller, lover of sounds.

I’m originally from a small village in West Sussex and after spending my childhood climbing trees, swimming in rivers and making fires I moved to Manchester for university. I studied Pharmacology for three years at The University of Manchester and then completed a Master’s degree in Science Communication with a Merit. I now reside in Brixton, London.

I am currently the Publications Officer at The Institution of Environmental Sciences. I am the editor of the environmental SCIENTIST, a themed quarterly journal showcasing excellent environmental science research and opinion from around the world.

I always get drawn back to nature. I have had a lifelong passion for fishing and can be commonly found stalking along the riverbank in the search of something special. If not on the riverbank you can find me in the mountains on my snowboard or hiking through a valley with a tent strapped to my back.
